The original Cinelli
forged seat lug has very weak binder ears that always got mauled
by binder bolts. From my earliest days, I droped in a section of heavy wall
tubing,
brazed it up and machined it out for an integrated bolt. Classic looking, but
it had
the bonus of actually working.
