DROPOUT
A photograph very similar to this of a Jim Redcay dropout in 1975 is what began my journey into frame building. I saw the photograph in an issue of the old Bicycling Magazine about American frame builders. Until I saw that article, I thought that one had to be either Italian or British to build frames. The photograph of Jim's dropout made that assumption obsolete.
