PRIMARY HEADLIGHT (right side)
The primary headlight
switch (bottom of light housing) controls the entire lighting system. Power
to and from the primary is visible as the thicker wire entering the housing
from above through the internal routing in the front rack. The tail light positive
wire is visible as the thinner wire running from just aft of the thicker main
power wire.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We have mounted the light UPSIDE DOWN. This is NOT correct
for two reasons. First, the Optics are aligned to work right side up and the
light pattern sucks upside down. Second, the rear light wire clip is mounted
in a hole in the housing which can fill up with water, thus shorting out the
system. On this bike, we used a nasty little trick to reverse the optics so
that they actually work properly and we simply forgot to install the "pop
seal" for the rear light wire before we took this picture.
