CHAIN STAYS AND REAR FENDER
After completing the frame, Jeff had to custom fit the rear fender to the frame. He hand shaped the front end of the finder to give an even one millimeter of clearance between the fender and the chain stays. Note the nylon spacer and stainless washer where the fender is mounted to the chain stay bridge boss. They are used to align the fender to the tire.
